About

Who Am I? Why does that simple question always give me pause?

I am a Daughter, the product of awesome parents whose goal was to: better their family through education and experiences, present various life options/choices, and prepare us to be successful adults.  I come from high expectations, belief in God, respect for others and love.

I am a Mother, by way of a 12-year marriage and divorce, with 3 wonderful adult children, and a vivacious nearly 3-year-old grandson. They’re my joy and greatest life achievement.

I am a hard worker, graduate and a resilient woman.  After 20 years of experience in Business Management and Administration, a lay-off in 2014 pushed me to finish my education; graduating UNCG in 2016 with a BS in Business.  In 2018 gaining my Master’s in PRTSM at NCSU reinventing me for jobs in Tourism or Recreation management.

I am passionate about family, photography, and enjoying life.  My current most notable projects are teaching my grandson, starting a photography business,  Life Is A Photo 66   and helping open a ministry, Bethel House of Prayer and Deliverance.

I am a Nature lover. I want it to be here, beautiful, for generations.  I hike, kayak, photograph, and camp.  A current goal is visiting all of the NC State parks as a member NC Parks Passport and the 100-mile challenge.

I am also working on loosing weight and becoming healthier by way of a keto diet modified to meet my needs.  I love cooking and feature a lot of my meals on my Instagram account…JAMDoesKeto

And encompassing all, I am a child of God. . I am excited about my future in Him … one of my favorite scriptures is

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord , thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11

I am striving to be all that He created me to be; I am a work in progress…

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:” Philippians 1:6

  1. I acquired more interesting things on this weight-loss issue. One particular issue is a good nutrition is vital whenever dieting. A tremendous reduction in bad foods, sugary foodstuff, fried foods, sweet foods, beef, and bright flour products could be necessary. Keeping wastes unwanted organisms, and toxins may prevent desired goals for losing belly fat. While particular drugs briefly solve the situation, the unpleasant side effects will not be worth it, and so they never offer you more than a short-lived solution. This can be a known indisputable fact that 95 of dietary fads fail. Many thanks for sharing your thinking on this web site.

  2. I have observed that in old digital cameras, unique sensors help to target automatically. Those sensors connected with some surveillance cameras change in contrast, while others utilize a beam involving infra-red (IR) light, especially in low light. Higher specs cameras occasionally use a mixture of both techniques and may have Face Priority AF where the photographic camera can ‘See’ the face and focus only on that. Many thanks for sharing your ideas on this blog site.

    1. There is a lot to be said of the old sensors! It is amazing the various techniques used for cameras to focus. No matter what you do though, it is still an art to capturing a good, focused, sharp shot each time. When it all comes together it is soo beautiful and satisfying!!
